Thanksgiving Season!

 Thanksgiving Season!

The beginning of month November brings cheer to many of us.  The Weather outsides gets colder and the homes are getting warmer and cozier, our hearts are becoming merrier.  As a mom and home maker, I find lot of joy staging the home for holidays.

To list out the things I do.

  1. Ordering and stacking firewood.  Having fireplace warm and glowing bring all my family members together and makes us instantly happy.

  2. Bringing fresh flowers to your table, possibly from your home garden and make a beautiful bouquet and leave it on the table for the entire family to enjoy. This flower arrangement I made 3 days back, still very fresh and brings lot of cheer.

  3. Changing Home fragrances to Fall and Winter.  My favorite scents apple, cinnamon, frasier fir, baked cookies and all other goodness. My favorite brand for home fragrance is Thymes, especially Gingerbread and Frasier Fir both in the form candles or reed diffusers.

  4. Baking cookies, muffins, cakes.  Enjoy with family, also share with friends and family.  You know what, by doing so, you don't need so many home fragrances.  The home smells sweet and amazing already.  Make all these goodies not just with all purpose flour, try to add millet flour, whole grains flour, Quinoa flour, amaranth powder, buckwheat powder, almond flour.  You get all these in a great deal organic, healthy from VitaCost

   5.  Gathering with our friends and family on the Thanksgiving table.  Setting up a beautiful thanksgiving table is my favorite thing.  Use what you have already.  Just step out and collect some twigs, fresh leaves from the winter greens, some guards, spread it out on the table! I love involving my children in the job and they really love and are proud of their table set up.

Wishing you all a blessed and peaceful November! Make all effort to make your home and family loved.   Please watch my favorite you tuber Jennifer L Scott's channel for The Art of the Fall Table Setting and Enjoy!
